SISYPHUS

The universe has its own way of repeating

Possible. I can’t be wrong. Perhaps nothing really new. Life is always repeating and we just repeat.

Time never goes faster or slower.

Humans always have some way to speed up and slow down the pace of time as if they have power over time, but in reality, they don’t.

Some things may also be nothing really new.
Humans always have a way of re-interpreting events that are actually the same as if they met new feelings, but in reality, they are not.

Similar to the mythical story of King Sisyphus who was cursed by the sky gods to push a large rock to the top of a mountain over and over again for life.

The loneliness we used to feel with the loneliness we now feel, perhaps the same loneliness.

The wounds we once received with the wounds we now receive, may be the same wounds.

The fears we once faced with the fears we now face are probably the same fears.

The failure that we once embraced with the failure that we now embrace, may be the same failure.

The happiness we used to have with the happiness we are now looking for, maybe the same happiness.

The calm that we used to keep the calm that we now seek, perhaps the same calm.

The healing we once had with the healing we now seek, may be the same healing.

The peace we once held with the peace we now seek, perhaps the same peace.

It used to be fine. Now it’s not okay. Now all right. It used to be not okay. Tomorrow may repeat and we will repeat.

While doubting, while sure, while happy, while sad, while calm, while restless, while up, while below, and while we hold on to things that are not eternal.

But if we have a little luck. Maybe we will be met with new things.

New path. New opportunity. A new feeling. New hope. New memories, and new destiny.

One we need to remember again.

Even though it’s repeated, it doesn’t mean we don’t grow. Growing up doesn’t just mean getting taller.

Because sometimes growing is also about getting thicker leaves and twigs and strong roots.
